Health drinks of Peppermint tea


Peppermint is considered the strongest mint, medicinally, though the other mints have medicinal benefits as well.

Peppermint has activity against a wide range of pathogens, including streptococcus, staphylococcus and candida. Peppermint enemas are excellent for cholera and colon troubles. It is especially useful for convulsions and spasms in infants.

Patients with gallbladder troubles may be well advised to use peppermint tea as a nightcap.

Generally peppermint tea is more soothing, particularly to the digestive system, whereas peppermint oil is more stimulating.

A tea made of a thumb-length spring in 1 cup of boiling water vases digestion and provides relief from abdominal discomfort and stomach upsets.

Peppermint tea will also relieve cold and flu symptoms.
