Technically, any liquid intended for drinking is a beverage so named by a word derived from French and Latin verbs meaning ‘to drink.’ Healthy beverages are beverages with health benefits that attribute by its nutritional value. The use of healthy beverage for promoting health and relieving symptom is as old as the practice of medicine.

Protein drinks

Proteins are compounds made up of amino acids that are required by the body. Proteins are found in meats, fish, dairy products, eggs, beans, grains and vegetables.

Protein drinks are an easy way to get the high-quality protein need to recover and build muscle. Protein promotes muscle growth, and most of calorie output is due to muscle activity. So the more muscle the body carries around the more calories need to be burn around the clock.
