Blackberry juice

The small blackberries grow wild throughout British Columbia, Canada as well as other select areas worldwide.

The species of blackberries are numerous and tasty. They are high in vitamin E, which is useful for the treatment and prevention of circulatory and heart conditions.

Blackberry juice can be extracted ether from fresh or frozen.

Blackberry are high in iron, but can cause constipation. They have been used for years to control diarrhea. It is a good astringent antidote for diarrhea.

If blackberry juice is mixed with cherry or prune juice, the constipating effect will be taken away.

The juice also acts as a good general tonic and blood cleanser. It is valuable astringent and is also a great relief in cases of menstrual cramp, sore throat, coughs and fevers.

Blackberries juice are rich in vitamin C making them a strong antioxidant, and a protectant against infection, degenerative disorders and cancer.

Other key nutrients in blackberries include fiber, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, manganese, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, pantothenic acid, fructose, glucose, sucrose, folate, potassium, calcium and small amounts of lipids.
