Alfalfa juice is rich in vitamins A, B, C, D, and K; bioflavonoids; and the minerals calcium, magnesium and manganese as well as many trace elements, including boron, chromium, molybdenum and selenium.
Alfalfa juice contains saponins, a compound found in a number of herbs and grasses that may have a cleansing ability on the plaque deposits on the walls of the arteries.
Its high chlorophyll content relieves respiratory disorders and many degenerative disorders, such as arthritis and it may lower cholesterol and help guard against atherosclerosis.
