Chamomile tea for health

Chamomile is a favorite of European tea drinkers, who love its soothing nature and delicious, apple like scent.

It is considered a panacea for many common illnesses, especially women’s conditions.

Chamomile flowers are taken as a strong tea for improving sleep and rest. It is often recommended for people with insomnia.

The tea can be made by steeping a dessertspoonful of dried or fresh blossoms in a liter of boiling water allowing it to stand for 10 minutes strain and mix with honey.

Chamomile reduces the fermentation processes in the digestive tract and increases the secretion of bile from the liver.

Chamomile tea can be added to granadilla juice and chilled for a relaxing cool drink.

Externally, chamomile infusions are recommended for treating allergic dermatitis and ulcers of the lower leg.
